All Bare Skin and Laser therapists are New York State Licensed Estheticians and Certified Laser Technicians. You can rest assured that you will be getting the best care available by experienced and knowledgeable staff.
Appointments can be made easily online or by phone at 914-747-9600. A credit card is required at the time of booking to hold appointments.
Physicians, Physician Assistants, or Nurse Practitioners providing services in our facility on an appointment only basis are independent contractors and payment will be rendered directly to the Physician, PA, or NP. Any questions or concerns must be handled by the Physician, PA, or NP directly. Bare Skin and Laser holds no responsibility for any procedures performed by the Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
We accept credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover), cash, Bare Skin and Laser Gift Cards and SpaWeek Gift Cards. Gift cards are not valid on injectable services. We do not accept personal checks. Financing options may also be available, please ask for more information.
A contraindication is a condition or factor that can deem a patient not suitable for a particular treatment. There can be many contraindications to a treatment. In order to ensure you are a suitable candidate for treatment, you must complete our medical history form in our office. If in review of your medical history we find that you are not a suitable candidate, we may require that you obtain a medical clearance from your doctor or we may recommend another treatment route. You may also advise the front desk of any medical conditions at the time of scheduling to find out if you may not be a candidate.
Please read all the information provided on our website about the particular treatment(s) you would like to receive, this way you may get some idea of what to expect, and how to prepare. You will also receive e-forms prior to your appointment that will also include any pretreatment instructions.
i.e. The treatment area must be clean shaven before Laser Hair Removal treatment. Please shave the area within two days before your appointment. If you arrive unshaved, a $25 shaving fee will be incurred.
Industry standard for gratuity is typically 15% - 20% based on the quality of service received. Gratuity is accepted by cash or Venmo. Tip envelopes and Venmo QR codes are available at the front desk for your convenience. Gratuities are not included in your service price, and are greatly appreciated.
When booking services at Bare Skin and Laser, your appointment is scheduled with a therapist, whose time is allocated exclusively for your scheduled treatment. If you are late for a scheduled appointment, our company policy offers you two options:
You may opt to shorten your treatment.
You may prefer to reschedule your appointment at a more convenient time, however, a rescheduling fee will be incurred.
We understand that occasionally you may have to cancel an appointment with us. As a courtesy to our clients and staff, it is company policy for all clients to give 24 hours notice of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a $50+ (based on treatment) rescheduling fee.
All packages and treatment sessions will expire if inactive for over 6 months. Any unused credit, gift cards, or promotional offers will expire after one year without use. Please contact us if you need to freeze your package for any medical reasons i.e. pregnancy. Packages/ treatments sessions are non transferable.
All laser treatments/packages, spa treatments, skin care products, and Gift cards are not refundable. All sales are final.
All children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the treatment rooms. Also, eye protection must be worn by all persons in the treatment room during all Laser and Light based treatments. We are not responsible for any unattended children.
If you happen to leave behind any belongs in our office, we will do our very best to try to recover those items for you as we have been lucky to do thus far. However, we can not be responsible for any lost items.
